Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha, also known as Gugu - is a British stage and film actress. Gugu gained notoriety after her role in BBC's 'Doctor Who' British science fiction television series. The show ran from 2002 until 2005. Handler then started appearing in other programs such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was hired for The Tonight Show as a reporter. Handler got her first major break in the form of hosting her own E! Show in 2006. The Chelsea Handler Program. It lasted two seasons.
